Pez includes a number of distribution functions. The naming convention is the same as in R:

  • d* – density function;
  • p* – distribution function;
  • q* – quantile function;
  • r* – random variates.

Normal (Gaussian) distribution

  • dnorm(x, loc=0, scale=1)
  • pnorm(x, loc=0, scale=1)
  • qnorm(q, loc=0, scale=1)
  • rnorm(n, loc=0, scale=1)

Uniform distribution

  • dunif(x)
  • punif(x)
  • qunif(q)
  • runif(n)

Binomial distribution

  • dbinom(x, size, prob)
  • pbinom(x, size, prob)
  • qbinom(q, size, prob)
  • rbinom(n, size, prob)

Chi square distribution

  • dchisq(x, df)
  • pchisq(x, df)
  • qchisq(q, df)
  • rchisq(n, df)

Gamma distribution

  • dgamma(x, loc=0, scale=1)
  • pgamma(x, loc=0, scale=1)
  • qgamma(q, loc=0, scale=1)
  • rgamma(n, loc=0, scale=1)

Exponential distribution

  • dexp(x, loc=0, scale=1)
  • pexp(x, loc=0, scale=1)
  • qexp(q, loc=0, scale=1)
  • rexp(n, loc=0, scale=1)

Poisson distribution

  • dpois(x, mu)
  • ppois(x, mu)
  • qpois(q, mu)
  • rpois(n, mu)
